FAQ

Questions About Cincinnati

Is Cincinnati to Florida a straight shot?

Close to it. I-75 runs from Cincinnati through Atlanta to Tampa and Miami. Tampa is about 920 miles, and Miami about 1,130.

I live in Covington. Is that a Cincinnati pickup?

Yes. Northern Kentucky is part of the Cincinnati metro, just across the river. You’ll just register the car in Kentucky instead of Ohio.

Can a carrier get up to Mt. Adams?

Usually not. The streets up the hill are steep and narrow, so you’ll meet the driver below, on a wider road with room to load.

  1. Hills and steep streets

Mt. Adams, Clifton, Price Hill and plenty of other neighborhoods sit on steep, twisting streets. If yours is one, the driver will meet you at the bottom, on a flatter main road.

  2. Over-the-Rhine

OTR’s narrow streets, parked cars and streetcar tracks make it tight for a carrier. The driver may meet you on Central Parkway or another wide road.

  3. Northern Kentucky

Covington, Newport and Florence are part of the metro, and pickup works the same. If you’re moving there, you’ll register in Kentucky: see our Kentucky page.
