Nevada Questions
Can a carrier pick up at my hotel or condo on the Strip?
Not at the door. Resort valets and parking garages have low ceilings and no room for a 75-foot carrier. We meet at a surface lot or a wide street nearby. Tell us the property when you book.
Does the desert heat matter for my car?
A little. Las Vegas summers often pass 110°F, which is hard on old batteries and tires. Check both before the car ships, and don’t leave anything heat-sensitive inside.
We’re moving from California to Las Vegas. How does it work?
Give us both addresses and your dates. Los Angeles to Las Vegas is about 270 miles on I-15, a road carriers travel every day. If you have two cars, tell us: one carrier can often take both.
I just moved to Nevada. What do I need to register my car?
Nevada gives new residents 30 days. A car from out of state needs a VIN inspection, and in the Las Vegas and Reno areas most cars need a smog check too. Bring proof of Nevada insurance to the DMV.
What does it cost to ship a car to or from Nevada?
Distance, the vehicle, open or enclosed, and the season. The short runs to California and Arizona cost far less than a cross-country trip. Get an exact quote or call (424) 453-1800.

Nevada Cities We Ship To
City-by-city shipping notes
Nevada is two metros, Las Vegas and Reno, with a lot of desert between. Notes on each city:
Las Vegas
Resort valets and parking garages can’t fit a car carrier, so Strip-area pickups meet at a surface lot nearby.
Henderson
The southeast valley, with master-planned neighborhoods and HOA rules about big trucks.
Summerlin
The west valley’s master-planned community, with gated villages. We usually meet on a main road.
North Las Vegas
Near Nellis Air Force Base, with fast-growing neighborhoods off I-15 and the 215.
Mesquite
Golf and retirement town on I-15 at the Arizona line, about 80 miles from Las Vegas.
Reno
Northern Nevada on I-80 and I-580, a short run from Sacramento and the Bay Area.
Sparks
Reno’s neighbor on I-80, with new neighborhoods to the north and east.
Carson City
The capital, on I-580 and US-395 below the Sierra.
Lake Tahoe
Incline Village and Stateline, over mountain highways that see chain controls in winter.
Elko
Ranch and mining country on I-80 in the northeast, about 290 miles from Reno.

Las Vegas Pickups
A car carrier can’t pull into a resort valet or a parking garage, so Strip and downtown pickups meet at a surface lot or a wide side street. In Henderson and Summerlin, many neighborhoods are gated or have HOA rules about big trucks, and the carrier may meet you at a shopping center on a main road. In summer, plan to be on time: a parking lot in July is no place to wait.
Reno, Carson City and Tahoe
Reno and Sparks sit on I-80, a short run from Sacramento and the Bay Area, and carriers reach them easily. Lake Tahoe is different: the roads from Reno and Carson City climb into the mountains, chain controls are common in winter, and lakefront drives are steep and narrow. For Incline Village or Stateline, we usually meet in Reno or Carson City, or at a lot near the lake.
