Missouri Cities We Ship To
City-by-city shipping notes
Most Missouri pickups are around St. Louis or Kansas City, with the Ozarks and the college towns in between:
St. Louis
Where I-44, I-55, I-64 and I-70 meet at the river. Older brick neighborhoods like Soulard and the Hill have tight streets.
Kansas City
The Missouri side of the metro, on I-70, I-35 and I-435. Older streets near the Plaza are tight; the suburbs are easier.
Springfield
Southwest Missouri on I-44, the gateway to the Ozarks and Branson.
Columbia
Mizzou, about halfway between St. Louis and Kansas City on I-70.
Lee’s Summit and Independence
Kansas City’s eastern suburbs, with newer subdivisions in Lee’s Summit.
St. Charles and O’Fallon
West of St. Louis across the Missouri River, on I-70 and I-64.
Branson
Shows, lakes and retirees on US-65, with steep, winding roads. We meet at a lot near the highway.
St. Robert and Waynesville
Outside the gates of Fort Leonard Wood, on I-44 between St. Louis and Springfield.
Jefferson City
The capital, on US-50 and US-54 by the Missouri River.
Joplin
Where I-44 meets I-49 in the southwest corner, close to Kansas and Oklahoma.
Missouri Questions
What does Missouri require to register a car from another state?
Missouri gives new residents 30 days. A car titled elsewhere needs an identification number and odometer inspection by the Highway Patrol or an authorized inspection station, and many cars need a safety inspection too. In St. Louis and the nearby counties, most also need an emissions test. Check the Missouri Department of Revenue for your car.
I have orders to Fort Leonard Wood or Whiteman. Can you help?
Yes. Fort Leonard Wood sits right off I-44, and Whiteman is off US-50 east of Kansas City. Have your orders and report date handy, and ask about our military discount; proof of service is required.
Can a carrier reach my place at the Lake of the Ozarks or near Branson?
Usually close to it. Lake roads are narrow and hilly, with steep drives a loaded carrier can’t take. We’ll meet at a lot on US-54 or US-65 near you. Tell us about the road when you book.
Is it easier to ship from St. Louis or Kansas City than from a small town?
It can be. Carriers run through both cities every day on I-70, I-44 and I-35, so pickups there are simple to schedule. In a small town, meeting the carrier near the interstate can make things quicker.
What does it cost to ship a car to or from Missouri?
Distance, the vehicle, open or enclosed, and the season. Get an exact quote or call (424) 453-1800.
Who Ships in Missouri
Read more about shipping in Missouri
St. Louis and Kansas City
Missouri’s two big metros sit at opposite ends of I-70, about 250 miles apart, and carriers cover that stretch every day. In St. Louis, brick neighborhoods like Soulard, the Hill and the Central West End have narrow streets and tight parking, so we usually meet at a wider street nearby. In Kansas City, the suburbs are easy, while older streets around the Plaza and Brookside take more planning. Tell us your block when you book.
The Ozarks and the Lakes
Branson, Table Rock Lake and the Lake of the Ozarks draw retirees and second-home owners, and their roads are steep and winding. A loaded car carrier can’t take most lake drives, so we meet at a lot on US-65 or US-54. If you’re splitting the year between Missouri and somewhere warmer, see snowbird car shipping, and ask about our senior discount.
